Attorney Choucri-Mansour

A Personal Message From Joanna Asmar Esq.

I am more than your attorney located somewhere in the hills of Southern California. Since the beginning of my journey in becoming a lawyer, I have seen personal injury law firms treat clients as if they’re another client on their desk and a money bag. I watched cheesy advertisements and marketing ploys to bring clients in to believe that they were going to be cared for and fought for. I have heard of attorneys pushing for settlements and results that are in the best interest of the firm, not the client. I have never, and will never, allow this to be my purpose or my reasoning to practice law.

I am an advocate and that is my job and my passion.

Thousands of years ago, the profession of an attorney was created out of obligation, with the purpose of advocating for others who were not able to fully advocate for themselves. Attorneys were known as skilled speakers, effectively persuasive and articulate; and more than anything, they were your voice.

In conjunction, attorneys were skilled in interpreting the law and ensuring that people were knowledgeable of their rights to prevent abuse of power and to ensure that both sides were represented.

It wasn’t about money, or right and wrong, it was about protecting rights and safeguarding fairness to all parties.

That is exactly why I created this firm and will never forget why we do what we do. We are here to advocate, efficiently communicate, and protect the rights of deserving people with the use of the law derived out of public necessity and policy.

We Built This Firm on One Belief: You Deserve Someone Who Actually Fights for You.

Let’s be honest—the legal system is intimidating. Especially when you’re hurt, grieving, or overwhelmed. That’s where we come in.

At Powerhouse Legal Advocate, we define “advocate” differently than most firms. To us, an advocate is a protector. A voice for the voiceless. A steady guide when your world feels upside down.

We founded this firm on the principle that strong, compassionate representation shouldn’t be reserved for the wealthy or the connected. It should belong to everyone. Especially those who never asked to be in this situation.

Winning cases is great. But justice? That’s what drives us. Looking someone in the eye and saying, “We’ve got this from here”—and meaning it. Helping you take your power back when someone else’s negligence stole it.

We don’t just handle cases. We champion real people. Real families. Real lives.

That’s Powerhouse. That’s the advocate you deserve.

Why Choose Us

When Joanna Asmar takes your case, she takes it personally.

She brings the same intensity to every detail—reviewing medical records, questioning witnesses, challenging insurance adjusters—because she knows one missed dot can cost you thousands.

But Joanna’s drive runs deeper than strategy. She’s watched too many clients suffer twice: once from the injury, again from fighting for compensation alone. She refuses to let that happen on her watch.

Her promise to you:

  • I will handle the heavy lifting. You focus on healing. I’ll focus on holding them accountable.

  • I will never make you feel like a number. You’ll know my voice. You’ll have my cell. You’ll always know where your case stands.

  • I will fight for everything you deserve. Medical bills. Lost wages. Pain and suffering. Every dollar.

Joanna is the advocate you want when the stakes are highest. Because she fights like her own future depends on it—because yours does.
